Bunions
Someone I know has bunions on her feet. She showed them to me the other day (right before serving me pie!). Both of this woman's middle toes looked like raised balls. The deformity was incredible. I asked her when the bunions started to appear, and she said two years ago. This woman is only 43. Which brings me to my next question: how do we stop bunion growth?
Here's some tips:
1. Don't become a ballerina. You're guaranteed to get bunions.
2. Go barefoot as much as possible. The chafing of shoes causes bunion discomfort.
3. Wear a bunion splint to take some of the pressure off.
4. Get surgery. Talk it over with your doctor, because this is a serious surgery.
